Los Angeles, September 27, 2016 — Walk of Life, the 11th annual walkathon of the Armenian Bone Marrow Donor Registry (ABMDR), will take place on Saturday, October 1, in Glendale.

Registration for the event will begin at 9 am, in the plaza of the City of Glendale building, at 633 East Broadway Avenue. The 5K walk/run will conclude with participants returning to the plaza of the City of Glendale building, where a celebration will take place, featuring food and music.

Several elected officials and community leaders, among them Glendale Mayor Paula Devine, members of the Glendale City Council, and California State Senator Anthony Portantino, will participate in the walkathon, which seeks to raise support for the life-saving mission of ABMDR.
